Built for 120V / 60Hz electrical systems. This bulb is designed for countries that run on 120V power at 60Hz — including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and much of Central America and the Caribbean. It is not compatible with 230–240V / 50Hz systems (including Australia, the UK, and most of Europe) — even with a voltage step-down converter, the 50Hz/60Hz frequency mismatch can cause the bulb to malfunction, so we don't recommend it. We're working with our manufacturer on a 230V/50Hz version and are aiming to launch it in 2027 — stay tuned, and thank you for your patience as we get it right.

The BioLux A19 brings full-spectrum light to your desk, bedside, or reading nook. It emits a broadband spectrum spanning 400–700nm visible light plus 700–3,000nm+ infrared in every mode and at every dim level, delivered in a warm, premium package that dims like nature: as brightness decreases, the spectral character shifts toward warmer, redder light, helping support circadian rhythm alignment and the subtle timing signals your body relies on.
A hybrid bulb, not just another LED. Most "circadian" or "full-spectrum" bulbs on the market today are LED-only — they shift color temperature through the day, but they don't publish a broadband infrared spec, and most emit little to no infrared at all. The BioLux A19 is a hybrid incandescent + LED design: it pairs efficient LED-driven visible light with true broadband infrared, published and tested at 700–3,000nm+, alongside CRI ≥98 and R9 90+ visible light. It's the fuller slice of the light spectrum your body evolved under outdoors, not just the part your eyes can see.
